The Marlborough Sports Partnership (MSP) Mission
|
The MSP
Mission was established by the City of Marlborough as
a regional center of excellence for youth, adult, club, high school, civic
sports activities. Our commitment is to provide the necessary financial
resources, advanced facilities, a committed volunteer staff and value for all.

About MSP
-
MSP is a charitable tax-exempt entity under
section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a non-profit
organization.

The MSP consists
of a board of directors, volunteer
staff and is promoting its mission and value to key stakeholders across
Marlborough and New England.

The first MSP kick off event occurred in the fall
of 2008.
MSP Purpose
- To organize and sponsor competition and exhibitions for the purpose of
stimulating interest in the involvement of sport.
- To provide an adequate number of suitable facilities for the operation
of various sports tournaments.
- To provide an equal opportunity to all eligible, including:
- Athletics
- Coaches & Managers
- Administrators
- Officials Sports Organizations
- To develop programs to encourage participation and achievement in any
of the many and various sports.
- To enhance the personal growth and development of youth athletes while
also reinforcing positive influences, self confidence, self-esteem, and
the ability to excel on and off the competitive venue.
